JEDI Meeting Minutes 2/5/25

Discussion Points:
*Marginalized Therapist Peer Support/Support Groups looking positive for approval; Board Member has to attend each for feedback (need to get clarification on this).
*Need to choose a time and space (During conference or Social). Unanimous vote for during conference.
*3 groups: BIPOC Therapists, LGBTQ Therapists, Therapists with Disabilities
*Soundbath host is interested, Flute player is a maybe. Massage Therapist $200 flat rate.
*Beverages and Snacks: Dirty Soda Section, Fruits, Cookies, Chips, Muffins. Ask the Board about this process.
*4 rooms: Main Foyer (Photobooth, snacks, painting, interactive, table for affirmations, networking), Side room 1 (soundbath, yoga mats, meditation), Side room 2: Craft Room, Side 3: Massage therapist
*Marginalized owned businesses donating food and drinks to the social. Or just locally owned.
Next meeting on Feb 26 at 9am
>Community Resources will have their own break out rooms that symposium attendees can cruise through at their discretion for the lunch hour.
-Rochelle is going to reach out to Allison Shaw to present.

-Discussed tentative schedule
-Reach out to Trinh Mai for Keynote presentation (Juancarlos tasked on this)
-Change Sponsor panel to Lunch hour
-Make 1:00 more clinical presentations
-Make 11:00 and 1:00 clinical presentations as breakouts, emphasizing to invited presenters that they will use an allotted time to present content and majority of the time will be focused on collaboration with clinicians attending the breakout.
-Create messaging structure for when we call for speakers. (To do in next meeting)
